Frequently Asked Questions

Will the rooftop tent fit my rack or cross-bars?

Yes, it mounts to most quality racks/bars that meet the tent’s mounting width and your vehicle’s dynamic roof load. Always verify spacing and clamp clearance.

Do I need the annex?

No. The tent works standalone. The annex adds a ground-level room for storage, privacy or changing in bad weather.

Dynamic vs static roof load — what’s the difference?

Dynamic = moving limit while driving. Static = parked. Respect the lower dynamic figure for safe use.

How is the 55 L fridge powered?

Runs on 12/24 V DC in the vehicle or 220–240 V AC at home/campsite. For longer trips, we recommend dual-battery or portable power stations.

Can the fridge run as a freezer?

Yes. Simply set the target temperature. Pre-chill contents and allow ventilation around the compressor for best performance.

Is condensation an issue with rooftop tents?

It can occur with any tent. Ventilate properly and use an anti-condensation mat where available to minimise moisture.

How noisy is the compressor fridge?

Compressor fridges make a low hum when cycling. Allow ventilation and secure the unit to reduce vibration noise.
