Estimated delivery times
Use the guide below alongside the product-specific availability and delivery information. These are approximate delivery estimates, not guaranteed dates. UK or EU stock describes the stock location; it does not mean every item is held in our UK warehouse.
- UK-stock items: approximately 24–48 hours.
- EU-stock items: approximately 5–7 working days.
- Stocked bumpers: approximately one week.
- Made-to-order bumpers: approximately 3–4 weeks when not stocked.
- Special-order items: lead times depend on the manufacturer. We will discuss and confirm the expected lead time with you before the order is placed.
Bumpers follow the bumper estimate above rather than the general stock guide. The specific delivery period agreed for your order takes priority. International delivery, destination restrictions and any additional transport arrangements must be confirmed for the order. Contact us before ordering if you need delivery by a particular date.
Availability and lead times
Check the product-specific lead time before ordering. Stock may be held in the UK, overseas or by a supplier, and manufacturing or import time may apply. “Usually in stock” is not a guarantee that an item is physically in our UK warehouse. Ask us if a date matters, and tell us before contracting if delivery by that date is essential. Do not book non-refundable fitting work solely on an estimate.
The agreed delivery period applies. Without an agreed different period, consumer delivery must be without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract. Late-delivery cancellation rights and refunds are explained in the Sales Terms; a supplier or transport delay does not remove them.
Delivery and heavy goods
Available services, charges and destinations are shown for the order or agreed in a quotation. Tell us about restricted access. We will identify material pallet, unloading, kerbside or appointment requirements for the chosen service. No customer collection or attendance is offered. A delivery signature or a courier's short reporting deadline does not override a consumer claim for non-delivery or damage.
For consumer orders, risk normally remains with us until you or your nominated recipient receives the goods, subject to the legal exception for a carrier you independently appoint. Report missing, damaged or incorrect items promptly so we can investigate.
International charges and returns
The order's stated delivery arrangement determines import responsibilities. Where DDP is expressly agreed, we pay the destination charges covered by that agreement. We will not impose an undisclosed blanket duty charge. Other import costs payable by you must be explained before you order.
Ordinary unwanted-goods return costs fall to the consumer only with the required pre-contract disclosure. For items that cannot normally be returned by post, the return cost or reasonable maximum estimate must be given before ordering; if it was not, you are not liable for the undisclosed return cost. Faulty-goods return costs follow statutory rights. See the returns and refund rules.
For a change-of-mind return, you may arrange your own suitable carrier or ask us to arrange a courier collection. Where return costs are lawfully yours, we will explain the quoted direct collection cost and obtain your agreement before booking; it is a transport cost, not a restocking fee. For goods that cannot normally be returned by post, the required return cost or reasonable maximum estimate must still be given before purchase. Offering a courier after purchase does not cure a missing required disclosure. For faulty, incorrect or transit-damaged goods, we bear the reasonable return costs where legally required.
Heavy-goods change-of-mind return estimate: where goods cannot normally be returned by post, our reasonable maximum estimate for one return consignment is £100. Where we arrange collection and the direct cost is lower, we charge the lower agreed cost; we do not charge more than this published estimate for a return covered by it. This is a transport estimate, not an automatic £100 fee or a restocking charge. We explain the actual collection arrangements and obtain agreement before booking. It applies only where the return cost is lawfully the customer's responsibility and the required information was given before the order. Faulty, incorrect or transit-damaged goods follow the seller-funded remedies required by law. This new estimate does not create a retrospective charge for an earlier purchase.
