Escape Alaska 190 Rooftop Tent

The experience gained during the expeditions allowed for the introduction of minor improvements, which are in vain to look for in factory serial productions. 

Long version - the entrance to the tent is covered to a greater extent, in the case of the vestibule, the entrance ladder is inside it.

The floor is made of aluminium filled with insulating foam, inside an aluminium "honeycomb". The tent floor provides excellent insulation even at low temperatures. The top inner honeycomb layer absorbs possible moisture. On the floor, a 6 cm thick mattress with a removable cover. The windows have an openable mosquito net, external shutters with pins and a tight closure from the inside. Entrance openings with mosquito nets and tight closure. At the top of the tent, adjustable ventilation (with mosquito net) and 2 large opening roof windows with mosquito nets! The flysheet has a professional foil sewn over the windows. The tent is completely protected against unwanted guests (mosquitoes, insects). 

There is a waterproof cover for the tent, and unfolding is very simple - full unfolding with windows in less than two minutes, without mounting pins in the shutters - several seconds (tested in the rain).

Material

• walls made of the highest quality impregnated cotton (canvas) with a weight of 280g/meter  (most sellers have a thinner fabric - 260g) reinforced with a mesh (ripstop) combined with polyester. This ensures waterproofness and excellent breathing. The seams of the walls are glued, which prevents the material from stretching and leaking during rain. 4 main openings (2 entrances and 2 windows) and 2 roof windows secured with mosquito nets and shutters from the inside and outside allow you to perfectly regulate the temperature inside. On colder nights, we close the openings on both sides, on warmer nights we open them, leaving only mosquito nets. It gives a feeling of coolness even in a very hot time. 
  
• flysheet - waterproof 420D Oxford polyester. An additional frame guarantees airflow between the flysheet and the roof of the tent. In the flysheet, two professional foils are installed above the roof windows.  
  
• outer cover in black - 100% waterproof, made of very thick and durable PVC  580g,  with a small zipper for easy opening and closing. 
  

The set includes a 2.3 m telescopic ladder and LED lighting.

The tent has aluminium mounting rails and a set of handles for the roof rack or railings and tension attached to the ground. The tent rails can be mounted along or across the tent depending on the type of roof rack you have. The tent can be opened to the sides or to the rear of the vehicle.
