Use a smaller roof-carrying system when a full tray is unnecessary. This Prado 95 kit combines two 1345 mm Front Runner load bars with gutter-mounted legs and a wind deflector.

Vehicle fitment and installation

For Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 95 with suitable rain gutters. The kit uses four 170 mm gutter-mount legs; it is not a universal Prado 90/95 kit.

The supplied legs clamp to the vehicle’s rain gutters. Check the gutter condition, clearances and the installation guide before fitting. Use only the stated Prado application; the combined 90/95 vehicle selector does not make every kit interchangeable.

Features and practical use

• Two 1345 mm load bars, each with a 22 mm profile height.

Load and clearance guidance

Account for the weight of the rack or bars, mounting hardware and accessories when calculating the available roof payload. Observe the lowest applicable vehicle, mounting-system and accessory limit. The manufacturer states a maximum driving speed of 130 km/h (80 mph) with a Front Runner roof rack or load-bar kit fitted.

Dometic specifies a 25 kg (55 lb) load limit using the wording “per Load Bars”, with the load spread evenly. Do not assume a 50 kg combined rating for the pair. Confirm the intended load with the manufacturer before carrying heavier equipment; further bars may be required. A compatible Front Runner rooftop tent can be mounted only when its fitting requirements and all applicable load limits are satisfied.
