Front Runner Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 2016–2023 5 ft Pro Bed System Frame

Build an adaptable cargo-carrying structure above the specified Tacoma load bed, using a frame designed for compatible side accessories and a separately purchased upper platform.

Fitment and installation

For Toyota Tacoma third-generation Double Cab (2016–2023), 5 ft bed. Requires the specified 5 ft bed and vehicle-specific brackets. Factory cargo rails are required for the front mounts. Rear bed-pillar stiffeners require drilling. Confirm the bed structure, trim, liner and fitting access against the manufacturer guide before ordering.

Features and equipment

  • Frame components provide mounting positions for compatible Pro Bed accessories.
  • This frame-only SKU does not include a Slimline II tray.
  • Compatible optional mounts can carry boxes, MOLLE equipment or other properly secured accessories.

Load and clearance planning

Count the rack or bars, mounting hardware and every accessory in the vehicle’s carried load. Follow the lowest applicable vehicle, rack and accessory load limit, distribute cargo evenly and secure it using compatible equipment. The installation does not increase the vehicle’s permitted roof or load-bed capacity.

Use the fitting instructions to establish the finished clearance. Tray size, mounting-leg height and packed dimensions have different meanings; packed dimensions do not describe the height above your vehicle. Check fasteners after installation and at the intervals required by the manufacturer.

Read the installation guide before assembly and choose additional accessories for the exact mounting system and dimensions specified above. Separately shown cargo and accessories are not included unless expressly listed.
