Out-Trak Three Rock Sliders for Range Rover L322

Out-Trak’s Tree Sliders for L322 Range Rover (all model year) is developed in order to satisfy the most exigent offroaders!

Owing to Range Rover L322's big distance between the front and rear axles, the sill zone underneath the vehicle’s doors becomes a delicate point, exposed to hits. The original protection, made of a simple plastic profile, is not sufficient to avoid the damages caused by off-road activity. The Tree Slider's task is both to protect the under-door area and to hold high obstacles, such as rocks or trees, away from the vehicle body, too.

Following the Land Rover Passion philosophy, fully tested in our Discovery 3 and 4 Tree Sliders, also for this car models the Tree Sliders have necessarily to satisfy the following  requirements:

Resistance: the lateral bars must be as strong as to support the vehicle’s weight without folding and consequently always allowing the doors to open.

Simple installation: they must be installed without making new holes, into the vehicle body.

Dimensions: they must offer maximum protection both to the spars and to the vehicle body, without reducing the distance between vehicle itself and the ground and without surpassing the maximum shape dimensions.

So, for this specific vehicle, we developed a U shape profile, which covers the door sills of the car and is equipped with a wide and smooth slider which in addition to strengthening the entire sheet metal, facilitates sliding on the obstacle and at the same time protects the head of the fixing screws. Lateral bars, made of a strong metal, are connected to the under-door profile by tubular sections, welded without interruptions, in order to give rigidity and strength to the entire structure.

The installation is carried out by exploiting the holes already present on the vehicle, slightly boring the diameter to accommodate 12 riveted M8 stainless steel inserts. Another 4 anchor points located on the internal side of the “U” bring to 16 the total fixings for each Tree Slider!

To reach the main goal of treatment against corrosion, the Land Rover Passion L322 Tree Sliders, before being powder coated, are subjected to a primer painting by cataphoresis and will be supplied with stainless steel screws/bolts.

Using the specific adapter, the Tree Sliders are predisposed to lift the car with a Hi-Lift jack.
