A pair of drilled & grooved high-performance black rear brake discs for the Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series from August/1992-1998. This is a direct replacement of the original disc, no modifications are required it is a straight swap of your original standard discs.
The CNC machined drilled and grooved design provides extreme stopping power both on and off-road with enhanced cooling performance for rapid response. Castings are given a chemical wash before adding the black protective finish. Ensuring maximum performance is achieved the discs are later heat treated which provides high anti-corrosion protection on non-friction surfaces.
The grooves help deglaze the pad and prevent fade which occurs when the pad and disc get too hot!
The holes help to keep the discs cool and dissipate heat!
The grooves also help to channel water away from the disc surface!
Stopping distances are reduced!
They add the finishing touch behind alloys!
Longer disc life!
Reduced weight!
Black attractive finish
OFM4x4.co.uk recommends fitting new brake pads when fitting new brake discs on any application.
When new the black protective finish will cover the complete disc surface, after a few hours the contact area of the pad will remove this finish and expose the metal underneath keeping the drilled and grooved sections black, as illustrated in the image.
Superb performance and by far the best-looking brake discs on market.
Drilled and grooved discs are directional left & right.
Please follow the fitment guide & bedding tips provided with each set of discs ensuring the direction of the grooves points to the back of the vehicle.
