Escape Vario 160 Hard Shell Rooftop Tent

The highest quality custom-made roof tent for Escape.

The floor is made of aluminium and filled with insulating foam. The three-layer tent floor provides excellent insulation even at low temperatures. On the floor, a 3 cm thick mattress with a removable cover. Under the mattress special foam - honeycomb - reduces possible moisture. The windows have an openable mosquito net, external shutters with pins and a tight closure from the inside. Entrance openings with mosquito nets and tight closure. The tent is completely protected against unwanted guests (mosquitoes, insects). 

In addition, the tent is equipped with a roof window and two bags for small items hung next to the ladder.

Characteristics

• walls made of the highest quality impregnated cotton (canvas) with a weight of 280g/meter  (most sellers offer tents made of thinner material - 260g) reinforced with a mesh (ripstop) combined with polyester. This ensures waterproofness and excellent breathing. The seams of the walls are glued, which prevents the material from stretching and leaking during rain. 4 main openings (2 entrances and 2 windows) protected with mosquito nets and shutters from the inside and outside allow you to perfectly regulate the temperature inside. On colder nights, we close the openings on both sides, on warmer nights we open them, leaving only mosquito nets. It gives a feeling of coolness even in a very hot time.

The telescopic ladder is 2.3 meters long. If necessary, a 2.6-meter ladder can be used

The set includes aluminium mounting rails (mounted to the tent) and a set of handles for the roof rack or crossbars.

The unfolding is semi-automatic, assisted by two actuators.
