Saber 7075 Alloy Winch Shackle Short - Cerakote Grey

The Saber Alloy Winch Shackle Short is a compact, lightweight, patented, soft shackle-only alternative to a traditional Winch Hook. Made from strong, lightweight 7075 alloys, it will withstand the harshest of conditions at the front of your vehicle while winching. To further strengthen it, we finished it with a tough Australian-finished CERAKOTE Ceramic coating.

Introducing the Alloy Winch Shackle Short (AWS Short)

At Saber Offroad we are always looking to innovate by making recovery safer, smarter and stronger. We recently released our Alloy Winch Shackle (AWS) and Alloy Winch Pro however, we have now added to the range with our patented Alloy Winch Shackle Short (AWS Short).

Replacing the need for a standard winch hook, the AWS Short will conveniently hold the winch rope tightly against the fairlead to protect it and allow for convenient use when needed.

The main difference from the AWS Pro is the more compact design, yet still utilising the patented channel through the AWS Short to offer optimal support for soft shackles and eliminate the risk of damage compared to other products with sharper edges. The design of the AWS Short makes it exclusively for use with Soft Shackles.

Manufactured from 7075 Aluminium

Manufactured from Aircraft Grade 7075 Aluminium, the AWS Short is not just incredibly strong, it’s also lightweight. The winch rope eye is held in place by a 16mm 304 stainless steel pin and internal circlip. It is installed quickly and easily.

The three Rubber Fairlead Engagement Pads (RFEP) softly engage with and protect the surface of an aluminium fairlead.

Australian Finished with CERAKOTE Ceramic Coating

Understanding the weaknesses of other finishes from around the world, we have worked with local coating specialists to find the best solution. The Australian Ceramic Coating (from Cerakote USA) on our Alloy Winch Shackle Short gives strong UV stability matched with a durable, hardwearing surface.

Available in Black, Red and Grey initially, with other colours being made available from time to time as limited editions.
